Our Tanning Solution
At MST we use Custom Tan™ sunless tanning solution in four different strengths. These premium grade tanning solutions are formulated to be quick-drying, non-sticky solutions containing all-natural skin-beneficial ingredients. They have a triple moisture lock formula for intense hydration and contain no parabens, PET, mineral oils, artificial fragrance, glycols, sulphates, petrochemicals, DEA or TEA.
All our solutions are fast-acting with the flexibility to be washed off after two hours or left on for longer to develop further over time.
2hr REGULAR is suitable for bridal spray tans and for clients with fair to medium skin. This solution is 10% DHA and develops into a beautiful natural tan with gorgeous bronze hues.
2hr DARK is our most popular solution and is suitable for clients with fair, medium or dark skin tones. This solution is 12% DHA and develops into a rich deep tan with gorgeous chocolate hues.
2hr ULTRA DARK is suitable for clients with medium to dark skin tones. This solution is 15% DHA and develops into rich chocolate hues without a hint of orange.
2hr ULTIMATE is our darkest solution and is suitable for clients with dark skin tones. This solution is 16% DHA and features a quad bronzer which develops into a rich deep tan with gorgeous chocolate hues.

Products
PRIMER The primer is the first step in our process, and it plays a crucial role in preparing the skin for the spray tan. Our pH balancing spray is designed to boost DHA development and provide a faster and longer-lasting tanning result. It replenishes lost moisture, balances the skins chemistry and creates a perfect canvas prior to sunless tanning.
SPRAY TAN Our high-quality tanning solution is the heart of our service. We have meticulously selected a solution that not only gives a beautiful bronzed glow (no orange here) but also nourishes and hydrates the skin. Two coats of our premium solution ensures we don’t miss a spot!
SETTING POWDER This final step acts as a protective shield, helping to reduce the risk of smudging or transferring onto clothing. Our vegan-friendly formula is made using premium ingredients including French pink clay which helps to remove the sticky after tan feel and leaves your body covered in a beautiful shimmer. No more hiding at home until your tan has developed!
Tanning Advice
Pre-tan Advice
Have any hair removal such as waxing/shaving 24 hours before your Spray Tan appointment.
Have your shower well before your appointment so that your skin can cool down & dry off.
Exfoliate your entire body paying close attention to the dryer areas like knees, elbows, hands & feet.
On the day, make sure you are free of any moisturisers, makeup, oils, perfumes or deodorant. These can act as a barrier to the tan and affect your results. If you have any other tanning products on your skin, thoroughly remove these prior to your Spray Tan treatment.
Remember to wear something comfortable and loose and preferably something you don’t mind getting tanning solution on.
If you choose not to tan naked, we have disposable g-strings here for you or you can wear your own underwear. This is totally your choice and we are happy with whatever works best for you.
Post-tan Advice
We spray with a two hour solution. You can wash the bronzer off two hours after your tan or leave it on to deepen the tan.
While your tan is developing you should not allow your skin to become wet. If your skin does get splashed, dab it dry (don’t rub!) and then add a little bit of moisturiser to the area blending it with bronzer to an even colour.
Avoid activities that will make you perspire excessively immediately afterwards
After the processing time (two hours or what suits you) you can shower and remove the bronzer to reveal your developing tan. Remember your tan will take 8 – 12 hours to fully develop.
For best results, when rinsing off your tan, do not use body wash or soap. Rinse with water only until the water runs clear
Gently towel pat your skin dry after showering rather than rubbing
Avoid staying in baths, pools, spas or showers for extended periods
Use the recommended tanning aftercare products like a tan extender moisturiser and SLS free products to lengthen the life of your tan
